Abstract

Collaborating closely with the DORIS team at DG CONNECT, QAnswer provides seamless access to intricate technical documentation, particularly for data-oriented services within the European Commission. Doria, a robust platform developed by the DORIS team, is currently driving an AI assistant specifically designed to query the complex legislation of the AI Act, making it easier for stakeholders to understand and engage with the law. In addition to this critical deployment, Doria is being actively tested in a variety of experimental use cases across multiple departments, where its adaptability is being explored for future applications. Its capabilities are also being considered for cross-departmental projects that aim to enhance digital transformation, AI governance, and transparency within the European Union. Doria’s role continues to expand as part of the Commission's broader strategy to leverage AI in addressing technical and legislative challenges, further solidifying its importance within the institutional framework of the EU.
